Celebrate Fete de la Musique with Scott Cooley's latest album!!!

Musique des fΓͺtes is a French term that translates into English as "holiday music." I've tagged my latest release as such for several reasons. A lot of my music, but in particular this album, has a holiday feel to it with steady doses of daydreaming and wanderlust.
It contains a collection of songs that are all loosely based on a theme of taking a break from the daily grind. Starting back in the 1980s in France, World Music Day (a.k.a. Make Music Day) has happened annually on my birthday. In even numbered years, this is also the day I release a new studio album of original songs I've written and recorded myself performing as a solo artist.
No matter where you live, you are not only allowed, but are urged to play Scott Cooley music outside in public. Go ahead and crank it up to 11. My 8th such album, "Missing The Boat," becomes officially available for purchase in all your favorite online music stores, so I hereby encourage you to buy it and crank it up to 11!
Combining lyrical themes from the Great Lakes region with Caribbean-influenced garage rock played only on acoustic instruments, the style has also been neatly described as "a sober, stripped-down, Midwestern version of Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers."
